NAMM 2020 Guitar Pedal Announcements

Howdy Folks!!

NAMM 2020 is amongst us! And once again, I’m just a nobody, so I’m not there. But, there is a bunch of awesome gear announcements coming out, so I’m going to try to consolidate them here for you with my initial thoughts without having actually touched any of these products. Sounds fun, right?

I’m going to divide separate blogs between pedals, guitars, and amps. This will be the pedal one since I was able to put it together first.

Line 6

Pod Go. This has the sounds and patches from the Helix, but without all the deep dive editing for more of a plug-n-play setup. At $450, Line 6 may have just convinced my cheap ass to come back to modeling. They’re all compact, have the step-on type activation. The distortion and fuzz ones have seperate switched to engage the drives seperately, so these can effectively be two pedals in one on your pedalboard, very cool stuff. Retail for $139-$159

Danelectro

-Back Talk reverse delay. This is one popular a decade or two ago, but it the huge footprint that Danelectro is known for, this reissues it but in a more pedalboard friendly size. $199

Quilter
